Customer Care Representative

Job Purpose

The Customer Care Representative will provide professional, compassionate, and efficient support to clients seeking funeral and related services. The role focuses on guiding clients through service options, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring a respectful and seamless customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and assist clients in a professional, empathetic, and confidential manner.

  • Understand client needs and provide clear guidance on funeral arrangements and related services.

  • Explain funeral packages, repatriation services, and additional offerings accurately.

  • Identify suitable service options based on client requirements and follow up on inquiries promptly.

  • Coordinate with mortuary, transport, administration, and other internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Communicate timelines, procedures, and service requirements clearly to clients.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service agreements, and payments.

  • Ensure all documentation meets company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and company values at all times.

  • Comply with internal policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or a related field.

  • At least three years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in funeral services, healthcare, or hospitality.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.

  • Fluency in English and Swahili.

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
