Job Description
- Following standard recipes and portion control to maintain consistency .
- Following health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage.
- Maintaining proper sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Assisting in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Monitoring stock levels and informing the Head Cook of any shortages or necessary replenishments.
- Working collaboratively with other kitchen staffs to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time.
- Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with health regulations and school policies.
- Monitoring portions to ensure they align with the school’s standards and dietary requirements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Catering, food production or a related field.
- Valid health certificate.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
