Job Title: Security Guard (1 Position)

Location: MTRH, Eldoret

Job Grade: RS 4

Reporting to: Security Supervisor

Summary:

AMPATH is seeking a qualified and motivated Security Guard to join our team at MTRH in Eldoret. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Access control: Monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates.
• Prevent theft and damage.
• Patrol the premises regularly, including buildings and perimeters.
• Gather intelligence.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.
• Enforce company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum KCSE mean grade of D plain.
• At least one year of experience working in a similar role.
• Training in firefighting and first aid (required).
• Security-related training (preferred).
• High integrity and strong moral character.
• Keen surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili.

Terms of Employment:

• Contract position with a three-month probationary period.
