- The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is scheduling and assisting participants for one of our data collection projects taking place in Nairobi, Kenya.
 
Work Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate participant scheduling for study appointments
 - Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism
 - Maintain and update appointment calendars and participant records
 - Provide information and assistance to participants and visitors
 - Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and preparing materials
 - Liaise with study staff to ensure smooth participant flow and efficient operations
 - Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards of the study
 
Job Requirements
- Idiomatic fluency in Swahili
 - Advanced English
 - High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus
 - Proven experience in scheduling, reception, or administrative roles
 - Excellent organizational and time-management skills
 - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software
 - Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
 - Discretion with confidential information
