About the Role
BasiGo is recruiting a Sales Admin Executive for its Nairobi office. This is a full-time position that forms the operational foundation of the Sales Department, ensuring the team operates with structure, efficiency, and clear visibility into commercial progress. The role supports a sales function responsible for revenue growth through customer acquisition, market entry, client retention, and relationship expansion across multiple segments and geographies.
BasiGo operates in the electric mobility sector, providing E-Buses, E-Vans, and charging infrastructure solutions in Kenya. Demand for these products continues to grow, and the Sales Admin Executive position is essential to supporting a high-performing sales organisation that can capture and service this opportunity. You will be the operational backbone—managing information flow, systems coordination, and reporting that enable the sales team to deliver customer value and meet commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and track incoming sales enquiries with timely responses and systematic follow-up procedures
- Manage lead data, customer records, and pipeline information using CRM systems and supporting databases
- Maintain accurate and updated customer information in CRM platforms to support relationship management and customer engagement
- Produce sales reports, performance dashboards, and analytical insights to inform management decision-making
- Coordinate with internal departments to move sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to delivery and closure
- Equip field sales teams with necessary customer information, proposals, documentation, and tools for effective engagement
- Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline development, customer activity levels, and key commercial indicators
- Organise customer meetings, proposal presentations, and sales documentation to support the sales process
- Manage customer communication channels and touchpoints to ensure consistent and professional customer experience
- Identify and recommend improvements to sales processes, communication workflows, and team effectiveness
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with CRM systems, reporting dashboards, and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or project management environment; automotive industry experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams and departments
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple customer communication platforms simultaneously
- Proven organisational and time management capabilities, with ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a growing, fast-moving environment
- Proactive approach to work with demonstrated willingness to learn and develop understanding of commercial sales operations
