About the Role

Solvo Global is hiring a Sales Agent to join its sales development team in Nairobi. This is a full-time position based onsite, where you will own the early stage of the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential clients. If you have at least two years of sales experience and thrive in high-volume outbound environments, this role offers direct exposure to CRM platforms, lead qualification, and sales process execution.

The Sales Agent at Solvo Global will report to sales leadership and work closely with Account Executives to move qualified prospects into the sales funnel. You’ll spend your time conducting outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, documenting interactions, and ensuring every meeting scheduled meets quality standards. This is a structured role with clear KPIs and a Monday-to-Friday schedule (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST).

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns using phone calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and CRM follow-up activities.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against the Ideal Customer Profile and determine fit before advancing opportunities.
  • Schedule meetings with qualified prospects and ensure all booked calls meet internal quality benchmarks.
  • Record all prospect interactions, objection handling, and next steps in the CRM with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with Account Executives and sales managers during the handoff process to ensure continuity and context.
  • Track and report progress against assigned KPIs, including calls made, conversations held, meetings booked, and conversion rates.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of hands-on sales experience in a sales development, business development, call center, appointment setting, cold calling, or lead generation role.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo.io, or comparable software.
  • Advanced English language skills (C1 level, approximately 90% fluency) in both spoken and written communication.
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales methodologies, outbound prospecting techniques, and objection handling frameworks.
  • Ability to manage objections, build rapport quickly, and adapt communication style based on prospect feedback.
  • Emotional intelligence and persistence required to thrive in a KPI-driven, measurement-focused environment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
