About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery station, equipment, and storage areas in line with food safety protocols
• Follow portion sizes, ingredient measurements, and preparation methods to ensure consistency across all products
• Coordinate production schedules with team members to meet daily sales forecasts and customer orders
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and report shortages to management
• Identify and troubleshoot product quality issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or recognised training qualification in baking, pastry production, or food production
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience working in a bakery or commercial food production environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of baking techniques including dough fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking procedures
• Understanding of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and safe handling practices in a kitchen setting
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and maintain focus in a pressured working environment
• Strong attention to detail when measuring ingredients, decorating products, and presenting finished goods
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with bakery staff and other departments
