Project Driver at University of Nairobi – University of Nairobi Kenya Job Details

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily vehicle movements for project staff, guests and deliveries in a safe and professional manner
  • Ensure the security of the vehicle and passengers at all times.
  • Ensure assigned vehicles are well maintained
  • Adhere and operate project vehicles in line with the project policies and traffic regulations.
  • Prepare and Maintain vehicle logs for fuel, mileage and service records
  • Ensure all vehicle related invoices are accurate, correspond with supporting documents and are submitted in a timely manner for payment processing.
  • Report mechanical issues and other vehicle related matters promptly for action
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Specification:

  • At Least KCSE certificate or an equivalent qualification
  • Must have a valid driving license, class BCE
  • Must have a valid certificate of good conduct
  • Have at least five (5) years’ experience supporting donor projects
  • Certificate in Basic Mechanics
  • Certificate in Defensive Driving
  • PSV Certificate will be an added advantage
