Job Description
- Perform welding tasks using approved welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC, and Gas Welding.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.
- Prepare materials and equipment before welding (cutting, cleaning, positioning, and measuring).
- Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
- Inspect completed welds to confirm strength, accuracy, and alignment.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Report faults, defects, or safety risks to the supervisor immediately.
- Work collaboratively with fabricators, technicians, and supervisors to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Certified Welder (recognized welding certification required).
- Certificate / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum [2–5] years of relevant welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different welding methods and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop/industrial environment.
