Role Summary:
The Marketing Intern specializing in Content Development and Design will play a key role in creating compelling and visually appealing content to enhance our brand presence. This position involves working closely with the marketing team to develop engaging materials for various channels, including digital platforms, social media, internal communication and print.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop creative and engaging written and visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, blog posts, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
Graphic Design:
- Utilize design tools to create visually appealing graphics, images, and layouts for online and offline marketing materials.
- Ensure consistency in design elements across all platforms and materials.
Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing and curating content for social media platforms.
- Work on creating visually striking posts to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Curate content for TikTok, Instagram and other emerging social channels
Market Research:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to contribute insights for content development.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and design, to ensure cohesive and effective communication strategies.
Content Editing:
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content across various channels.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimization based on performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Should have recently graduated from a recognized university with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Photography, videography and content editing skills.
- Understanding of social media platforms and their content requirements.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
