Job Opportunity: Income Accountant

About the Role:

We are in search of an experienced Income Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the accuracy of income recognition throughout our global organization. You will also be responsible for ensuring seamless data alignment and reporting consistency among various systems and entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Transactional Activities:

  • Process monthly income postings in SAP for received income.
  • Ensure that all transactions reconcile with bank, finance, and grant modules, considering relevant currencies.

Reporting and Reconciliation:

  • Generate monthly reports.
  • Assist in creating monthly income reconciliations between different organizations.

Processes and Compliance:

  • Monitor compliance with the Income process across all Plan entities.
  • Conduct training sessions on income processes and tools for new staff members.
  • Identify areas of improvement within your responsibilities and contribute to the development and updating of guidance materials.

Year-End and Annual Audit:

  • Provide support for the income reconciliation process involving BPC, SAP finance, and SAP grant modules.
  • Assist in collecting all necessary supporting documentation from Plan entities.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Strong systems skills, with a preference for proficiency in SAP.
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant, or actively pursuing an accountancy qualification.
  • Experience with multi-currency reconciliation and working with external audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
