Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and proactive HR and Administration Manager to join our team to revamp our HR processes/policies and oversee all aspects of our administrative functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in employee management, fostering a positive work environment, managing recruitment and retention efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy and Policy Development

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Review, recreate, implement, and manage comprehensive HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain skilled employees.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs for all employees.

Performance Monitoring, Compensation and Benefits

  • Implement performance evaluation systems and establish clear performance metrics.
  • Develop training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and competencies.
  • Review compensation structures to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Manage compensation processes including monthly payroll and administer employee benefits programs.
  • Review and update the company’s benefits and compensation policies as needed.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.

Administrative Operations

  • Facilitate smooth flow of sales order processing to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Act as liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication to optimize processes and maintain raw material and finished goods product quality.
  • Manage various on-site activities to create and maintain a safe and well-organized working environment conducive to productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HR and Administration Management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrable conversance and strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
