DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
  • Handle guest arrivals and departures, including efficient check-ins and check-outs.
  • Handle walk-in guests, providing information on room availability and hotel facilities.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries (phone, email, or in-person) with accurate information.
  • Manage guest feedback and complaints politely, resolving issues promptly or escalating them to relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all bookings, payments, and guest information.
  • Process guest payments (cash, card, and other payment methods) and issue receipts.
  • Maintain a daily log of front office operations and prepare reports as required.
  • Monitor room availability and assist in managing overbookings or special requests.
  • Liaise with housekeeping to ensure timely room turnovers for arriving guests.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to report any technical issues or guest complaints regarding hotel facilities.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the management team as needed.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Front Office Operations, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a hotel front desk or reception role is required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Basic cash-handling skills and understanding of payment systems.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
