Position Overview: 

We are excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Accounts and Operations Reconciliation Specialist. This role is designed for someone eager to embark on a career in accounting and operations, playing a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our business’s financial records through daily reconciliation of accounts and active participation in operational processes, with a specific focus on supporting audit activities.

Responsibilities:

Daily Account Reconciliation:

  • Learn and assist in the daily reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with senior team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support the monitoring and reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts.

Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with the operations team to gain an understanding of and contribute to reconciling inventory, sales, and other operational data.
  • Provide support in optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Data capture on accounting tool (Quickbooks), and preparing reports for review by your supervisor
  • Maintaining the general ledgers in QuickBooks
  • Preparing client invoices, statements and following up on the same

Customer Support:

  • Assist in addressing customer inquiries related to financial transactions and account reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure a positive experience for our clients.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Learn to maintain organized records of all reconciliation and operational support activities.
  • Assist in generating regular reports summarizing reconciliation results, operational metrics, and audit-related activities.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and audit teams to gather necessary information for reconciliation and operational processes.
  • Develop effective communication skills to address queries, provide updates on reconciliation status, and support operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA Level 4
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience working with Quick books
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and eagerness to learn other relevant software.
